Welcome to Afon y Felin’s new Nursery page! We are disappointed we will not get the opportunity to welcome you into Mes Bach as we normally would with transition meetings and ‘Stay and Play’ opportunities for your child. Instead this year we have created a virtual look around Mes Bach classroom and a’ Meet your Teacher’ video. We hope you enjoy watching these with your child, please take the opportunity to talk about starting school and if there are any questions or queries we can help with please email us through our "Contact Us" page.

We have also included our ‘Meet your Teacher’ letter. This is often given during the autumn term when beginning in your new class however due to the circumstances we have included it now for you so you can become more familiar with your teacher and any information regarding your class in September.

Our new ‘Nursery Prospectus’ is now available to download from this page. In this document you will find information regarding our nursery provision and how we will support you and your child through their learning journey in Afon y Felin Primary. Please have a look through; it has some lovely photos of the excellent learning that happens in our school.

Also available is the brand new ‘All about me’ booklet. This is a fantastic opportunity to sit down with your child and talk about starting school; it has questions for your child and places for them to draw and tell us about themselves. There are sections for parents/guardians too. Enjoy some time together filling in the booklet. You will receive an ‘All about me’ booklet through the post with other forms to fill in ready for September. You can return the booklet to us when your child begins school and we will use the information to get to know your child better and it informs us of ways we can support them in their transition into school.
